James focuses on short, medium and long term strategic projects advising numerous clients including Executors, Trustees, institutions, private & public landowners & charities.

James has over 20 years’ experience in all aspects of residential development agency including both land disposals and acquisitions as well as consultancy advice, development appraisals & feasibilities, valuation advisory, affordable housing consultancy & strategic land advice.

James regularly advises clients working with accountants, lawyers and tax advisors on conditional contracts, on optimum strategies including option / promotional agreements, development appraisals and price determinations seeking to optimise the planning and exit strategy and capital receipts for the clients post planning.

James has assisted in a number of large strategic schemes including two garden villages in recent years and focuses on 5 year housing land supply deficits where local authorities are not meeting their housing requirements.

Mark advises land owners and developers throughout the Region as to the means by which the value of their property assets can be maximised through Development or Redevelopment.

He has arranged hundreds of millions of pounds worth of sales by way of medium and long term Options and Promotion Agreements as well as shorter term conditional and unconditional contracts – with and without the benefit of Planning Permission. Mark’s clients include Landowners, Property Companies, House Builders, Institutions & Registered Charities. Mark is a strong team player working effectively with clients other advisors – typically Planning Consultants, Solicitors and Accountants to deliver the optimum outcome for clients.

Mark has over thirty-five years’ experience, primarily in relation to residential development land, including land at all stages of the development cycle. He offers agency services and development consultancy including development appraisal, valuation, sales and acquisitions and advice on conditional contracts, options to purchase and hybrid promotional/option agreements.
